The Grizzlies took their show to Vancouver Island on Thursday and managed to squeak out a four-point victory over the Shawnigan Lake Stags in their first-round matchup in the Victoria Police Athletic Association Tournament.  Micah Cockrill struggled nearly the entire game and the Grizzlies missed numerous free throws in the final minutes, but Chris Thomson picked up the slack and ensured the Grizzlies a second-round date with the top AA team in the province, the Southern Okanagan Hornets from Oliver.  That game goes at 1:45pm on Friday afternoon.  Stay here for the latest.
